Anjali & Alex's wedding has been a long time coming, for both the couple and for me - I first met Anjali and Alex back in the fall of 2020 when we took their engagement pictures! I've had the pleasure of photographing a few life events since then as well, and have been looking forward to their wedding weekend for a long time.
The entire wedding day encompassed so much tradition and brought in the couples' families and friends to participate throughout the day. One of my favorite parts of the ceremony was that Anjali's parents stood or sat next to their daughter and son-in-law throughout much of the ceremony, which combined rituals, prayers, and family customs to bless the new couple in their marriage. And what a joyful, vibrant, and colorful ceremony it was!
Anjali, Alex, and their families had the run of the beautiful Cunningham Farms, where the ceremony took place on the expansive lawn, the lunch reception was nestled under large shady trees, and the reception held under soaring rafters in a restored barn. It was the perfect setup for a dawn-to-dusk wedding day.
