Katie & Nathan's Old North Bridge Bridal Session

The loveliest, most down-to-earth-couple; a calm, unhurried hour of portraits, and that golden fall light that makes everything a little more dreamy. What's not to love?!

Katie & Nathan opted to take their bridal portraits months before their spring 2023 wedding, while we could still enjoy the beautiful fall colors and take the time to create beautiful portraits without the hustle and bustle of a wedding day. Fall colors at the Old North Bridge in Concord were really showing off, and for Boston's newest residents, it was all the more special.

This session reminded me of so many reasons why I love being a wedding photographer: it ain't for the money, it ain't for the blog - it's for the people. I only work with a dozen or so couples each year, because I want to be able to get to know each other and to invest in their vision for their wedding day. For Katie & Nathan, part of that vision was being able to spend as much time as possible on their wedding day with family & friends and not be sequestered away taking pictures. So we re-worked the usual timeline and took bridal portraits months in advance... and had an absolutely wonderful time!
