We kicked off the day at Sophie's family home in Boston, traveled to Sophie & Juan Carlos' home parish of St Paul in Cambridge for the nuptial Mass, and then up the north shore for a soiree reception at Glen Magna Farms in Danvers. I've been able to photograph at Glen Magna twice this year, and it's quickly becoming one of my favorite venues in New England. What a hidden gem! English gardens, an old farmhouse mansion, a wide lawn for cocktails & games, and a spacious tent for the dance party to stretch long into the night.
I've known Sophie and Juan Carlos for a few years through our parish, and it was so fun to get to know them better throughout the planning process and then to celebrate with them and their families. Their gentle, generous spirit resonated throughout the day, through the toasts, the laughs, and the excitement everyone shared.
